Wow, I haven't written a journal since March?! Compare that to most of the people I watch...

Um, so, I got a "new" computer. So that makes 3 Linux machines now. XD All of them from the last few years. Nice. My grandfather had a computer that was just out of warranty that just needed a hard drive. So it dug the 40 GB hard drive out of the dinosaur desktop I was using and put it in there, and now it's working great! I had to reinstall the OS though... it was f-ed up... Which was fine. I was planning to do it anyway on that hard drive. I am not sure what I'm going to do with the old system unit because everything that was hooked up to it (OLD (!) monitor, speakers, keyboard, mouse, and wi-fi) is now hooked up to this "new" computer. It's an e-machines with an AMD Athlon 64 dual-core and NVidia graphics (so games like Neverball work beautifully). X3 I would never buy an E-machines because they are very much a Windows-centric computer company. I'd rather just stick to Dell or System 76 for new computers, unless someone else is willing to sell new computers with Linux pre-installed. But I digress.

McDonald's shakes are starting to come with whipped cream and drizzle on them. So if you get a strawberry shake, for example, it gets topped with whipped cream and then a zig-zag line of strawberry shake syrup on top. A lot of people are actually PISSED OFF about this. ("What the fuck is this on my shake? This ain't no fucking shake!") I'll never understand people...

And on Monday we're going to get the new Angus third-pounder burgers. As a meat eater once more, I am interested in one of them, which is like my current favorite McBurger: the Big N' Tasty with Cheese (comes with ketchup, mayo, pickles, onions, lettuce, tomato--yes, like a Whopper). It's the Angus Deluxe. We also have two more coming: the mushroom-Swiss and the bacon & cheese Angus.

I've seen Nelly again in April, and May. My mom's idea is that we should see each other for one week at a time but more frequently. I like the idea, but her mom thinks it's too frequent (WTF?). Speaking of which, she'll be here in mid-July for my birthday. My favorite manager has signed me off for it. (Thank you, Kim!)
